Welcome to DR Drumming!
My name is Daniel Reiff. I am a musician with over 20 years experience playing drums with various bands, over 10 years teaching private drum set, and 5 years facilitating drum circles for various clients. Rhythm is in our bodies from the very start of life. I believe you can tap into it, even if you think you aren't musical. Learning to drum can take you to new and fantastic places, both within yourself, and in your community. On your own it can be meditative and healing, providing a path into a peaceful realm away from hectic life. Group drumming provides the opportunity to enjoy a shared musical experience that anyone can participate in. I love all things rhythmic, and I’m passionate about passing on this wonderful gift of rhythm and music through performance and instruction. Young and old, big and small, musician or not, it's wonderful and important to get in touch with our inner rhythms, and bring out the playful drummer in all of us.
"Rhythm is the soul of life. The whole universe revolves in rhythm. Everything and every human action revolves in rhythm."
- Babatunde Olatunji
If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”
